If you read his entire comment, you'll know why."Amazon regular prices can be set so high at times to make the discounts look better than they are."I've seen this gallon for $16 a million times, not an eye popping deal.

Still an ok deal but Target's regular price on a smaller 64oz (1/2 gallon) container is $9.69. Amazon regular prices can be set so high at times to make the discounts look better than they are.

This is 1 gallon....so therefore at Target a gallon is $9.69 x 2 = $19.38. I'm very confused why you are deriding this deal with an example that costs more?

The entirety of Slickdeals is the deal out the door, this is still cheaper so who literally cares what a more expensive retailer regularly has this at....THIS is the deal at the moment. I could care less if Amazon put the MSRP at $200 a gallon, and likely few other SD'er would care(cant please with anything types of people)....I read his comment and it was nonsensical related to the end goal of purchasing products at a market rate lower or the lowest it's historically been.

No, there are a lot of people here who take issue with inflated MSRP to make a deal seem better.

Cool, so is this a good deal in your opinion or not?? If not, where is it cheaper? Thats what these posts are for, discussing the deal, not how retailers price products to acquire customers.

I care. I dont like when retailers are deceptive with their pricing. Also, his post gives me a better idea on how well the item is priced. Your comment added absolutely nothing. Why are you so worked up over his helpful comment?

Anyone recommend this product? Is it above and beyond other car wash soaps?
This is a great car wash. You don't need much when use it. Fill a bucket up about half way with water, then dump maybe a quarter cup of this wash in, then with the hose submerged add more water while using your hand to mix the soap into the water. Then as the bucket gets full pull the hose out and agitate the surface, this will create your suds.

Where was this comment 2 years ago. Id always put the soap in first and fill slowly so I wouldn't make a lot of suds. Repped!

Its simple. I dont go to a lemonade stand with $5 crossed out for an out the door price of $1 a cup and yell at the little kids for crossing out the 5 saying how dare you try and make it seem like a better deal. I am a smart consumer and have the ability to quickly ascertain a fair market price doing minimal research, thereby negating any listed MSRP with correlated discount percentage and making it totally moot. It's in effect, a thread/post hijack to bring it up to straw man the entire purpose of why we are here, to share ways to save money. Hope thats crystal clear for you bud.

Good soap, has some conditioning agents some people haze it for that aid in shine and reflecting capability. If you arent a purist and worried about an expensive coating below, its very good. It also works in a foam cannon very well.

Your analogies need some work. Regardless, my point still stands.
