Work gave us these... i think most people will ruin it and think it sucks and sticks badly.

Last time it was on sale, it was Made in the USA. Not sure why Lodge makes some of their products overseas, the weight and shipping would make it more expensive to produce overall.

That said. Cast iron cookware will outlast any other type of cookware if you know how to maintain them properly. It's just that they have a considerable heft to them compared to clad and non-stick alternatives.

I work with a roadway construction and asphalt paving company. It really was a weird gift.
