Just like printer ink. Fun fact, I cause much waste and never replace ink but I go through a few cheap $50 printers yearly. The good news is my printers haven't had any issues haha. When it's time for ink, into the trash it goes if no one wants it.

Not quite the same but funny reference. Because the ink jet scam gave you ink cartridges that weren't full. The filter that comes with the purifier lasts as long as the replacement filter. And the hepa filter takes years to get dirty if you clean the dust pre-filter. Buy new purifier, sell old one on fb marketplace for more than you paid for it!
