If you buy this individually on ebay it works out to: $2500 for the panels. $1500 for the inverter. $2000 for the battery.

This seems to be an okay, but not great deal. You're basically paying the sale price for the inverter and battery, but paying $.50/W for the panels, which is definitely on the high side of things. But considering it's free shipping, that should factor into things.

If you're patient, you're probably better off buying each component individually as they go on sale.
