Sam's rampant abuse of the word "doorbuster" has made me completely tune out that word. Other retailers are surely guilty as well, but I find Sam's practice particularly annoying for some reason.

It's not that Sam's never has slick deals! They do, pretty regularly! But I can't remember the last time they called one of them a "doorbuster".

I wish Sam's would concentrate more on selling bulk food & less on everything else.

Their shipping option & curbside pickup without involving Instacart is literally the only things that are keeping me from dropping my membership.
