Meh. I have neo and neo 2. Neo 2 is much more capable. Neo 1 is what to get if every last dollar matters in which case you don't need to spend extra for the additional batteries. So my advice is buy neo 2 new or find cheapest used neo 1.

Curious... What do you do with the Neo 2 that you can't with the Neo?
I have the Neo I bought in Nov when these deals first came out. It's fun. I think the obstacle avoidance of the Neo 2 would get in the way of some flying I do.
I'm leaning towards keeping my Neo, skipping the Neo 2 entirely and picking up the Avata 360

It's my sacrificial drone. It's a little more pocketable too, but really I should sell it. The obstacle avoidance can be turned off on the Neo 2 but yes otherwise it gets in the way of doing things like inside flying or close inspection. If you are even considering Avata 360 vs Neo 2 you should probably get the Avata 360 and keep the Neo for pocketability and "disposability".
