Bought one recently for a similar price on Ali and it is real. I'm sure this is about getting product into the USA without catching the usual attention that Amazon brings. I received the 'action' bundle with three batteries.

I got an insta360 go ultra from ali and it was good. Box wasn't in English, but the camera was.

I've been scammed more times by ebay than aliexpress, I would personally blame myself.

Other than not being sold in U.S. so warranty can be a concern, I've heard people saying this can overheat(at least for the initial firmware). Meanwhile the companion software isn't as mature as Insta360(which is Chinese as well).

I would say the same in terms of times, but in terms of percentages, not even close. I've been scammed by maybe 20 sales on ebay, but that's probably like 1000 orders over 20 years. I've been scammed by vendors on Aliexpress like 5 times over 100 orders. I blame Aliexpress, you can't rate sellers until you receive an item, if they never send it, the vendors can't be rated to affect their sales. Aliexpress forces you to chase down proof of non-shipment or delivery (if they don't just refund you for me that's 50/50), Fedex/UPS/USPS say fly a kite for proof of non-delivery. Aliexpress doesn't screen vendors/sellers and the times they've scammed me they've padded reviews with fake bot buyers, then shipped random items to random addresses.
