I never looked into this set specifically but I have a Roland E-drum and I'm somewhat familiar with the product lines. This kit should not exist at any price. It's a premium price for an outdated module and a half-baked shell concept. The TD-17 at a bit cheaper is a better module or the TD-27 at a bit more expensive is a much better module. I know those are discontinued and I'm less familiar with the new ones, but the same should be true of the V31 and V51 modules that replaced them.
