Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

Do they send a box or do you box it yourself? Is a prepaid label included?

I might be forced to do online. I'd rather not but --might not have a choice.
They'll send you an Assurant link with different options to choose:
UPS - no packaging required, just drop off at UPS with QR code
USPS - use your own packaging with prepaid label they provide
USPS - request packaging box to be sent to you, then use their prepaid label to send back.

Can be done like an Amazon return. No label or box needed. Or they'll send you a kit in requested.

I have an existing (free) line on which I did an upgrde in store yesterday to get S26+. But when I login to my account I still see the offer for Ultra. Can I do another upgrade (and trade in) to get the Ultra too on the same line? Is it possible?

Went to the store today and could only do one single trade in. Rep could not process a second one, said the promos didn't apply

So when I got home, I tried online and the promos do work, but then all the way to the end the Place Order button is greyed out and can't proceed any further

Anybody else ran into the same issue ? Or know a fix ?
Today I just opened 2 new lines, did 2 of the $30 Walmart moto G's for my trade ins. Are you trying to do that on only 1 new line?

Looks like if you did 4 of them at one time it would be a cost of 574 and trade in would be 1240 if my math is correct. I am assuming they don't have to be unlocked to trade into Apple? Would it be safe to do all of them at one time?
Metro limits the number you can do per account. If your orders go smoothly, some get 2 per account, some get 3. Several metro threads about this. Suggest you read them before going down this road. Also, sometimes the trade ins to apple just don't work. Most of the time they do. I have been pretty lucky so far, but have not used gift cards to use apple products. Sometimes they ban you if you have too many.

Why don't you order online?
Now thinking I might do it online. Can do it on my existing line so ends up a little less than doing it in store and adding a second line. Will give the store one more try and if they won't do it will order it online. Thanks

It's clear there is a misalignment or politics between the physical store division, online, and customer service (phone). I can confirm that chat will let you refund the credit back to the credit card.
Did you do that and did it work? It's pointless for me to pay it off if they don't refund to the CC. So I'm hesitant ti do it.

When I try the order online it shows all the promos and got to the checkout page where it asked me to put in my shipping and billing address. Did not put in information to place the final order. Did you get to the check out page and fill out the information and then hit a grey place order button? Thanks

I should've clarified better. I asked 2 agents and screenshotted the conversations. Unfortunately that is a risk that you will have to take. With how they are running things there, they can just change the rules anytime so nothing is guaranteed.

Amazing deal. I purchased $30 moto g 2025 locked for straight talk and completely fine in store.
I had one spectrum line, and add additional line for this deal. No argument from them.

I bought S26+ 2 weeks before. I saw $700off on the same line online again when I try to purchase ultra until the final payment page, anybody upgraded s26 to another s26 online and $700 off successfully? I see ppl don't see promo after placing the order, what should I look for on the email to confirm $700off promotion sticks. IS IT A RISK TO DO ONLINE AS THEY CAN DENY $700 ANYTIME.

Edit: I tried in store, all went well until an error saying 1 promo per line , so no $700off again on same line.

My excess credit of $263.76 from Ultra to Ultra trade just now posted to my credit card account as a refund. I had submitted refund request via chat and Spectrum called me the next morning to confirm. Took 3 days altogether.

When I got my first ultra, I had to pay $461 on top of my s25+, this refund makes it so much better but still not as good as current ultra deal.
