I tried to use same free line to trade another phone today but rep said the free line already has s26+ from the same deal. Ended up opening a new 20$ gig line plus 20$ activation fee that they said they can't waive.

Yes, I bought it online. I've already received the new phone and mailed out the old one.
Please update the trade-in status and the $700 CC refund when you know more. I will need to mail out the trade-in this week. Thanks!

Not sure if this has affected anyone else but their online system seems to be glitching. After payment, my receipts/order status/emails don't show any evidence of the additional $700 trade in promos. Seems to have just disappeared on 2 separate orders.
Called and chatted with customer service and they don't have my trade-ins on record. They created a ticket so we'll see.
Did you trade s26 for s26? If yes, then it's expected. The system removed it during order confirmation.

True but that just means I need total 120 days to unlock both phones. I just don't want to risk of getting promo credit reversed
Get a 2nd line of $20/month.

One question, not sure it was already shared. I already got my instant Trade-in credit on S26+ and on my free line. Now, my wife wants a S26 Ultra for her. Can I use the same existing line with the straight talk phone on Walmart or have to activate a new line?
Official policy is $700 discount one per line. Don't take risk, get a 2nd line of $20/month.

I went to the store other day, I bought two phones. I attempted the third one in a row, rep could not complete it as they started seeing fraud/too much activity alert. Anyone encountered it? Is there any solution for it? Thank you.

What are you hesitating about? Just take your Straight Talk phone to the store and try using it with your existing line. If that doesn't work, create a new line. Done.

I was in the store yesterday but no more stock for both Plus and Ultra. So I have to do it either Direct shipment through store or online, either way it is not going to be instant credit this time. The store specialist was unable to provide more inputs like this as there were many waiting after me.
I wish there is a way to check inventory at store, even calling CS was not helpful, the CS rep himself was wanting one but there is no way to check the inventory

So far I have never heard of Assurant denied $700 promotion except the device wasn't the same as device the buyer agreed to turn in and the cosmetic of the device. I never heard they deny the $700 promotion because of not-unlocked or locked device or using the same line for trade-in.

Who was successful last night? Didnt see the post.
Can't remember which thread. There are three going on. Saturday night. Name started with a Q and was going back and forth with Karma-Joy.
Said they did it in store twice. Still not many people but not surprised that some were able to do things that other weren't.

Opened a $20 line and got an s26+ for $22 including the $20 activation fee. Coincidentally my billing day is the 19th so if I want to keep the $20 line open to unlock have to pay for the full three months. My trade in was worth $720. Same store that I was turned away from on Friday so you never know. Said I could keep the phone unactivated in the box if I wanted to but had it opened and activated to start the 60 day unlock. In retrospect, should have left it unactivated till the 14 day return window closed. Thanks for the good information on this thread and good luck to people who are still trying to get this deal done.

I've read this happening a few times with people trying Spectrum S26 series to spectrum S26 series trade in purchases online. You have to screen record these questionable purchases and then pray you get the right rep to have even the slightest chance of a positive outcome. Not recommended for the faint of heart. Good luck to you all!
