Data point. Mailed in trades that were delivered on the 5th. Received email today confirming trade value. Checked spectrum account and see credit for trades already posted. Chatted in to request refund back to CC. Was told it would be back to card in 3 to 5 days.

Anyone faced situations like this: Delivered but lost so management need to do manual credit via check which requires upto 08 weeks. Its frustrating but don't see I have any options. Anyone went through similar situation?

I had a credit balance on my account and requested that it be refunded back to my credit card. Spectrum opened a ticket for it, and today I received an email saying the ticket was "completed," but the email didn't include any details about what was actually done.
For anyone who's had a credit balance refund from Spectrum before:
  • Does "completed" usually mean the refund has already been processed?
  • Did you receive another confirmation email after that?
  • How long did it take for the refund to show up on your credit card?
Just trying to understand what to expect. Thanks!

Got it, thanks. About how long did it take before the refund actually appeared on your card after the ticket showed as completed?

Two Moto 5G devices delivered to Assurant on 4/29.

Got the $705 trade-in processed for one device on 5/7 and credit appeared in Spectrum account. Still waiting for an email or update on the second device being approved.

edit - second trade-in email received on 5/9

edit 2 - on 5/12 the $705 credit still isn't in my Spectrum account. Assurant status shows that the inspection/credit process is complete, though.

How do I accept the adjusted offer from Assurant now? The adjusted offer email has a link to the status page, but the status page doesn't have an option to accept and is still showing awaiting shipment. I emailed [email protected] to accept. Spectrum chat was useless and clueless.

The email says the adjusted offer will automatically be accepted after 14 days, but I don't want to wait that long.

It took a day before Assurant updated the status page with an accept button. After I accepted, the credit was instantly in my Spectrum account.

My first unsuccessful SIM unlock attempt. Purchased in store on March 11th activated with esim. Unlock attempt failed this morning by chat. I'm not sure if it's the esim to psim or if it's something else. I have a ticket with tier 3 IT escalations department supposedly so hopefully it will be resolved in the next few days. I'm not looking forward to unlocking all my other phones at this point it's like pulling teeth with spectrum chat reps. Good luck to everyone else

I'm seeing a $705 credit that will be applied to my next bill. Am I missing something? Why are others calling Spectrum to request a refund to their credit card? In my case, it looks like the $705 credit was automatically applied to my next bill without me needing to call.

I mean charge of $799 for the phone, then it's showing credit or payment of $705. So what I mean is the entire credit is reflecting in my next spectrum bill.
