This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.
I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.
Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.
In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)
On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.
So all in was $59.92.

By any chance, did the customer service rep tell you that the device has not been active on your account for 60 days even though it has been?
My guess is it's related to the esim and psim switching and maybe the fact they use different IMEI for SIM 1 and SIM 2.
"I am reaching out to my next level of support as it is giving an error when trying to unlock the device."
I also got a free phone for the primary line, which I activated then took off the line. I did get a physical SIM when I switched back to my old phone.
What I'm asking would look like:
primary (free) line - activated 1st S26+, reactivated old phone, activate S26+ w/ physical SIM at day 60 to unlock phone
second (paid) line - activated line and 2nd S26+; close line, activate this S26+ on the primary line around day 60 like I will do with the S26+ purchased on that line
Is this feasible? Or do I have to pay for another month on the 2nd line to keep it active to unlock that 2nd device?
(Sorry if this has been asked a bunch of times - I've searched and haven't found a conclusive answer.)

I returned the phone purchased online, Spectrum refunded whatever I paid as credit and also added a $400 promo reversal charge into my next statement. Called two times and agents are giving different reasons like you forfeited trade in bonus so we have to charge the $400, another one says we already gave you a discount initially, so we are charging back. Make no sense. Anyone returned the online order and got charged the promo reversal $400?

your credit card payment failed. But they still shipped you the phone. My payment was fail too at the store and they let me walked out. I got the notification from my bank about the failure so I just head back to store and paid with a different card.
Any luck?

Everyone please keep us updated on unlocking. I have to make a decision in the next 2 days on paying another $60 for 3 lines or just disconnect a few of them and put them on the free line to unlock or maybe unlock without putting them on the free line.
