They received both of my trade‑in phones and even emailed me confirming the credits would be applied. But only one credit has posted to my account. I called and chatted with support, and they told me I have to wait two full billing cycles before they can escalate it. It's strange because this has never happened to me before—usually the credit shows up soon after the confirmation email. Has anyone else dealt with this?
Same here. Sent two Moto G 5G phones from Walmart. Both trade-ins approved but only one credit posted to account. I haven't contacted anybody at Assurant or Spectrum yet. Need to do that ASAP.

I just tried to unlock the second phone today in my free line and it failed. The error is "Device Unlocked Failed. Device must be in the account for at least 60 days to become eligible for unlock". I activated on 3/21/2026; so should work by now. Oh well I will try again in a week.

You didn't escalate it further or try another rep?

eSIM or pSIM? When did you swap the phone onto the free line? From past experience, both device IMEIs (1 and 2) must pass and at least one must show active on their MDM before unlock will go through.

PSIM. This phone was obtained from online trade-in. I received it and activated it through psim on 3/21/2026; then swapped it out to my old Motorola phone on the same day. Every time I requested unlocked, I put the psim back into it to make active on the free line.

I just chatted with different rep and she told me that it will be unlocked after 6/15.

Looks like the MDM failed to register the phone and could be down when you swapped. Reps may be clueless and you may have to tell them what to do to get things done sometimes. Ask them to look up their network activation logs to confirm the activation date and submit a ticket to unlock it as the MDM glitched and could not unlock it.

Did they give you a reason why it wouldn't unlock until after 6/15?

Sure hope it does to smoothly and will be waiting for you to let us know how it goes.
It got unlocked this morning but it took an hour on chat repeating myself over and over. I asked for a ticket to be created like the previous rep did for my previous phone. Transferred me to a supervisor and we went back and forth about the unlock policy and the dates I activated. I think she got tired of arguing with me and then I got the notification the phone was unlocked. Very annoying process and I'm definitely not looking forward to it again in June.
