Looks like a solid deal. Heads up, ASRock is the most RMA'd brand out of all the board partners. Doesn't mean you'll get a bad card but, there is already some stink there.

The Nvidia tax is crazy. I have a RTX 3070, but I have been wanting a 4070 ti. It still goes for way too much money even used. I don't care about ray tracing. The only thing I would like Nvidia for would be opengl performance, but I don't know that the 9070 doesn't work well in opengl. It doesn't even bother me that much anymore since the OG Xbox emulator supports vulkan now.

A hard truth is that there exists certain applications and games that really encourage being run on an Nvidia card if one wants the most satisfying experience.
Unfortunately, everyone knows this, and what's worse, Nvidia themselves know this and prices are set accordingly.
If those certain applications and games aren't that important to you then you are free from the Nvidia financial chokehold. If, however, those certain applications and games are very important to you, then some hard decisions are in your future.
Yeah...unless newegg changed the link, this is an errant post. XT would have been a good price since $699 for the XT yesterday was getting a lot of positive talk.
FWIW, it looks like the description of the post indicates the non XT variant....but flicking through the forum links, the title still includes "xt"......so likely this is just a forum/thread glitch

I have a 9070xt from Asrock. I love the performance. Solid deal since this also comes with Crimson Desert. I will say Asrock's polychrome app is wack though. The led strip on this has a manual off switch on the card. I would recommend just switching it off because it's so small if you change the color of your fans frequently.

I have a 9070 XT steel legend. Great GPU. FSR 4.1 is up there imo just a lil short of DLSS 4.5 although you can run every game out there on highest settings at 1440p natively. Optiscaler essentially gets you FSR on nearly every title that supports DLSS. I would recommend!!
EDIT : THIS IS NOT THE XT!!
