Not as good as a Costco or Sam's deal, but a savings is a savings. I had another 1.5% off Newegg in my Citi card offers (activate offer) and get .5 mile per $1 through AAdvantageeshopping portal. Don't know if all those will stack or gift cards are even included in the newegg promos, but whatever.

I know my info is old. I didn't say any of the Costco or Sam's deals are current. From what I know this is the only deal out there.

RIP Southwest, now that your flights credits expire 6 months from original purchase on the lowest fares it kills any flexibility they used to have

Just got back from flying Southwest - my first time with the new seating mess. The irony is they've actually reverted back to the old group A, group B mess from way back before they added number groupings. Now it's race up to group 1, race up to group 2, etc so you can get on early enough to get a spot for your bag in the overhead since no one checks a bag with the new inflated costs. and you now get seat traders once you get on since if you buy the cheap tickets you get a random seat assignment for your family. You have to either pay a fee per seat to select your seat in advance or buy the next level ticket that includes seat selection. but there's no guarantee that cheap plus pay per seat is more or less expensive than moving up to the next level with the seat. It can be more or less - you just won't know without a lot of effort. It's now more chores if you're trying to get a deal and you'll feel the anger growing as you wish for the good old days.
