The shaft lock slider is ALSO the on/off switch! Up is on, middle is off, down is lock. If you accidentally slide this from on to locked, it can blow up on you, or at best sheer or crack the metal gearing inside.
1. Has very weak torque. You can stop it at any speed just by pinching your fingers over it. Still works for many things just be aware going in.
2. Be very careful turning it off to only slide the switch half way. It might become damaged if you slide it all the way down.
Other than that it's better than nothing. Has usb-c and lithium-ion batteries so should last a long time. Nice little collection of accessories. Works for anything that doesn't require a ton of speed or torque. Think small and delicate projects. So far only used mine to strip paint from a small handheld tool and it worked great. Then polished it after with np.
Lastly, it doesn't come with a case except for the box it ships in. Amazon pictures show a case but mine didn't come with one.
