velcro ties seem like a good idea until you dust. I went back to plastic twist ties.

I think this is a pretty common deal. I bought it in December. Even if it isn't crazy slick, it's probably the best value on this sort of thing, and these are very useful. Put one on every cable!

Here's a tip that should be obvious, but I've seen plenty of people mess up (including me at times): don't forget to thread the it through the hole first so that it's snug on one end of the cable. That's what it's there for, and it makes sure the tie doesn't fall off when you unroll the cable.
