I bought this saw last year on sale and I can assure you that the blade is not as flexible as pictured. It's much too thick for that. I don't think it's a very good flush trim saw, though it does have its uses. For a few dollars more I think the saw below is great.

According to my Amazon purchase history, I bought this saw 2 years ago. I used it a handful of time and would highly recommend against purchasing it. It's just plain horrible, even for the price. (1) It's not as flexible as pictured (as another poster mentioned), (2) the teeth protrude out so you cannot actually flush cut without marring the surface, and (3) the rip-cut side of the blade does not have rip teeth so you can't easily make a rip cut.

Honest I bought several and used one on a bush we had and it cut well but I paid about half of this price like 6 bucks.

Amazing how Japanese joints have lasted a thousand years. Countless high magnitude earthquakes. None of them "meets code."

I have a couple of these types of saws and thought "hey I could use another". I read and understood the dimensions but was still a bit shocked at how small it is. Think a large chef's knife. Cheap enough though so I'm happy.

This item keeps showing up. I have this saw. (probably paid 6 bucks as in the above comment, not even worth that much!)
Does not cut well, thick and not flexible compared to Japanese saw.
So not Japanese.... Not recommended!!

Like when the Chinese started making "Damascus Steel" and it was just fake patterns etched into the blade.
