So the lens color is clear, but they block blue light?? I thought clear meant equally transmissive of red, green and blue - almost by definition.

Here's a video where someone tests some clear blue blockers with a spectrometer.

PS - just for completeness. It is possible to block three narrow bands of blue, green and red light equally and obtain a lens without apparent tint, That wouldn't be particularly effective against broad band blue light and I doubt that is what is being offered in this product in any case, but it is a possible solution if narrow band blue blocking is all that is desired.

You're not wrong, the clear ones usually only filter a small slice of blue light so they don't look tinted. From what I've seen they're more about reducing glare and eye fatigue than fully "blocking" blue light.

For $10 for a 2-pack though, seems like a low-risk try. Worst case they're just cheap screen glasses you can leave at your desk/work bag.

The 2-pack in the OP is currently $9.97 on Amazon, so it's actually cheaper than the $14 one you linked.
Both look very similar (clear lenses, same basic style), but at almost $5 less for the pair, I'd just go with the deal posted here unless you specifically prefer the other brand or frame color
