People listening to me speak say the microphone is clear which is good, but in use cases like talking on discord while listening to a computer game audio it is extremely difficult to hear the computer audio. Hard to describe, turning up the volume sort of makes the computer audio harsher, but bigger headphones haven't had this problem for me.

That's because you can't really use Bluetooth for a gaming headset. You need to use a USB wireless dongle (usually operating on 2.4GHz) for headsets where you need multiple channels of audio. Bluetooth fundamentally cannot handle stereo sound output while also operating mic input, it's bandwidth limited.
I like the style on these and they do great as 2020 era headphones. Any newer features and you'll be left frustrated. Also frustrating is the plastic lip around the case. The case would be so much smaller if they removed this piece of plastic.
