It's explicitly "resin" ie plastic.

Also note these are supposed to be used 2 per tire and say they are only rated for a max wheel size of 20" (printer right on the label)

I purchased these thinking they'd be a little bit more hefty.. the description says they will be over 5 pounds. But these came in under a pound for both. Yes cheap plastic. I'm returning.

I got these from a different brand about ten years ago. 4200lb SUV in neutral rolled over them on a gentle driveway slope (without jacking up, just pushing by hand to check safety before; gentle slope here is about 3% grade, e.g. 180 inches across with ~6 inches elevation change, from sidewalk level to street gutter level; set in neutral with no parking brake to test the chocks specifically, but yes, generally you'd have your car in park and with parking brake). Plastic collapsed around base, making the chocks trash as they afterward collapse with just hand force. I wouldn't pay even $2 for them again. I use 2x4 cribbing instead now. Also, the solid rubber wheel chocks from Harbor Freight are about $8 per one, but actually work well.

Solid rubber, been using them for over a decade, no problems. Always this price, lower with the occasional coupon/sale:

Got similar plastic ones a over a decade ago, used it for multiple cars and had no issues. I also wasn't an idiot and jacked a car in neutral on a slope. These work just fine if you're jacking up a car in park on flat ground. If you're doing neutral on a slope, then move on. You shouldn't be jacking up your car on a slope anyway let alone in neutral.
