"Obligatory PSA: These have a bitter coating on them to prevent children and pets from swallowing them, which can be very dangerous. The coating can be removed by lightly sanding it off, but wiping it off with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol will suffice. That being said I kind of agree this is the normal price. These are my usual go-to, especially for exercise equipment that may see long periods of time between use (don't judge me) where they still last sometimes for years.
