It's much better to have separate dedicated items, the 2in1 inflators overheat. Decent for top offs but I wouldn't trust it with a fully flat tire.
I second this. I keep these things separate, cause if one fails, the other one will be fine. If a combo unit fails, it very likely will brick the whole unit. Also, separates are easier to handle and more versatile.

Nice find OP, I think I'm going to hold out for a deal on a LiFePO4. They are starting to come down in price, and are much safer for the Texas heat.
What lifep04 alternative u looking at ?

I plan to bring this on a trip to Vegas I'll mainly keep it for emergency night, early morning drives for back and forth event that's kind of far. Any risk keeping it in trunk? Although I'm expecting night time weather to be a bit cooler

Generally, LiPo batteries must be kept out of high heat, though without the sun heating the car's trunk, I think it would be OK. I keep my Li battery-powered devices in their protective cases lined up inside with aluminium foil. Call me paranoid, but in a case of fire, I believe it would hold up longer and allow for mitigation.
