I purchased a Biobidet A8 Serenity also from Costco and had to replace the hinge after 2 years. Design is pretty poor as the hinge is used all the time but is made of brittle plastic. Not sure if this model has a better hinge, but just sharing my 2 cents.
Toto might be a better choice as they have been in this business for a while too.

I had another model from Biobidet and yes the hinge is broken now after ~2 years. Wondering if this is planned obsolescence I think I may need to try a different brand too.

had a $350 model that went on sale to like $250. lasted about 2 years and even with regular cleanings the nozzle just stopped working. I have my doubts if this will last 5 years.
you can find toto bidets at costco on sale for about $250 (that's what I replaced my bio bidet with)

I've had the same experience. I didn't have any broken hinges or cracked seats but the nozzles just don't work as well after a while.

AVOID THIS MODEL LIKE THE PLAGUE!

The hinge breaks right after the 2 year mark. Bio bidet did not support the product. Blacklisted them for life.

I bought a bio bidet from Amazon and my hinge also broke after 2 years no joke. Seeing other people report this makes me think that it is planned obsolescence. I just removed the seat cover so we don't have one.

The bio bidet USPA 6800U was the pinnacle of price, features, function, and durability. For $200 you could have it all. Which is why they stopped making it, and why I'm still using mine.
