wife bought a cannister of this a while ago. i ran out of my usual powder, so tried it. it tastes like the cardboard box amazon delivered it in. (caveat- it was the 'creamy chocolate fudge' flavor. so maybe others are better)

Orgain is a great alternative if whey is something your stomach can't handle, and one of the better tasting vegan options. I know people have complaints about the health aspects, but I've never seen people actually suggesting worthwhile brand alternatives (according to the internet peeps, every protein powder has something negative).

I tried their chocolate collagen powder, taste just like you described, their flavors suck.

It was recently tested for lead it had 500x the safe dose
if so, from what i see they still say it's "ok" for occasional consumption. and neither me or wife liked it so we weren't drinking it anyway. but kinda interesting to know
