Going to sell the Drone+Batteries and keep the RC for my Neo 2. RC2 is expensive outside of combo packages. Great deal esp if you want to keep the Flip and batteries.

Thank OP. I bought the 2nd option fro $503 (the drone with only one battery on 3/31). This combo is much better with 3 batteries. I just order the combo and will return the other.

im new to drones and it looks like this and the mini 3 (also on sale right now) are good candidates. anyone have any experience with both and can offer any advice? found one article by pcmag that gives the flip a slight edge over the mini 3

I had one. It took one windy day and a crash to Total it. If the body gets damaged it cannot be repaired. Upgraded to the Avata 2. this cannot handle wind at all

I had the mini three and it is a good drone but the remote you can't use with any new drones. If you get the flip with the RC2 controller that controller the RC2 will work with all newer drones like the Neo de Neo 2 the flip the Mini 4 pro the mini 5 pro etc. If you get the mini three you can't use act controller with any of these newer better drones so get the flip with the remote with the screen the RC2. I take mine everywhere I have it in my work truck right now right next to me I can pull up anywhere on a construction site put my hand out the window and fly and fly it right back into my window It's a great drone and it has the same camera as the Mini 4 the video is so much better in photos than the Neo and the Neo too get the flip with the RC2 camera

Great deal. If you were to buy just the starter drone and controller, and then add the batteries plus upgrade the controller you'd be spending a lot more
