i got this exact printer as a refurbished model about a month ago, i love it. my old ender 3 kicked the bucket, this is miiiiiiiles ahead of that, so if your new or youve been out of the 3d printing game for a bit this thing absolutely rocks. Set up was stupid easy. wifi connection, send prints to it and watch from the computer, prints very very fast, self levels, etc.
Overall absolutely impressed with it. Only downside is i just tried TPU with it (admittedly a tough one to work with but i had gotten ender 3 to do it before) and it jammed up, but i hear its possible with some work.

I'd get the A1 over this.

If you don't mind a closed-source printer that in the future can decide what you are allowed to print, look it up.

For this price point I would buy the flash forge adventurer 5M. It's like $10 more but it's a core XY printer and it's not refurbished. I don't think this is a good deal

I have the AD5X (multicolor version) and havent had an issue with jams at all. Is it possible your PLA is wet or brittle? That can cause jams.

I would go with the Flashforge. It can be enclosed in you want to do high temp filaments like ABS/ASA. You can modify it to run Klipper if you want. It is new vs refurbished. There is a good amount of aftermarket parts/addons.

2 completely different types of printers. Creality Hi is a bedslinger (bed moves backward and forward) whereas Adventurer 5M is CoreXY (bed only moves up and down, toolhead moves around X and Y axis). Bedslingers are more old-school because they look like Ender 3s which is what a lot of people started 3D printing with. But you can also add CFS to Creality Hi to print multicolor, whereas you don't have a plug and play option for the 5M. So it comes down to whether you value more stability in your prints, or ability to add easy multicolor/multimaterial.
