Sadly, Broadcom chipset, no OpenWRT support. Do not confuse with E8450 - very different story. Otherwise I would order without thinking twice.

I really like this router. Just make sure to turn OFF auto firmware update when you get it. I forgot to do this, and it updated incorrectly and messed up my settings. It was easy to reinstall the previous version, but I thought I would pass along the info so that it might save someone some time and extra setup steps. I am pretty sure the router ships already updated with the most current version.
