Just a note the 288v was 20$ more the other day, they raised the price for the coupon. Still a great price, I bought it at the 650. Just a shady practice.

the 288v also has a 100% srgb 400 nit screen.

Thanks. Ordered one. 1TB SSD + "Ultra 5" series lunar lake is a steal at this price.
Acer certified refurb laptops marketed as "pristine, like-new condition" are practically new, based on my past experience.

They usually use a different language like "very good" or "slight wear and tear" for laptops that are in worse refurb condition. Example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/277798090257

Received mine yesterday. It's a decent lightweight laptop.. but HOLY MOLY, it came with so many Acer and Microsoft and McAfee software pre-installed!

Downloaded O&O shutoff to improve privacy, and O&O AppBuster to remove all pre-installed apps. Just got select all, remove. I can always install then later if I find the need.

Battery health shows 100%, so pretty much new.

The bazel around the screen is a bit thicker than what I prefer, but can't complain at this price point.
