I bought Gen 1 Soundlink Refurb from Bose, it was basically new, not a blemish. Came in a brownbox, but other than that it works great. got this one for pairing. It's the best price ever on a Gen2 as far as I could see.

Bose refurb'd products are like new. Every time. As long as it can be confirmed Bose is the one actually doing the "refurbing". Ive bought plenty of it.

You can't pair a 1st gen Soundlink with a 2nd gen. They have to be identical.

heard the first gen is a bit more bassy, while this one is brighter in sound. Other stuff are bluetooth versions and 2nd is app supported.

been this price for awhile. I bought one a couple months ago and can't say enough good thing about it. Was thinking to buy another to pair. BTW, refurbished is basically the same as new as this is direct from BOSE and comes with same warranty
