This seems like a good deal, nearly a 2 for 1. Sometimes Walmart has them for around $10 for a single kit.

Keurig descaler is nothing more than citric acid and water. A friend pointed this out to me after I'd spent a fair amount over the years purchasing Kuerig descaler. Now I make my own with food grade citric acid (readily available at Amazon and other outlets) and water. Most recipes call for 1-2 tablespoons of citric acid added to 16oz of water. In my case, I held onto the last Keurig descaler bottle that also happens to be 16oz.

When it's time to descale my coffeemaker, I just pour two tablespoons of the citric acid into the bottle before filling it with tap water, shake it until the citric acid is fully dissolved, then pour it into my Keurig coffeemaker and start the descaling process. I've been using this homemade descaler for over 8 years without a hitch. A 2 pound bag of food grade citric acid costs me about $15 at Amazon and I get about 40 descaling cycles out of each bag...which works out to about $0.38 a cycle...quite a savings over buying the Keurig descaler...even when it's on sale like this deal.

Title states 5-count (here and on the Amazon page) but the picture of the product shows it's a 4-count.
