These get posted often so I'll share my thoughts as I bought them:
It's useful having little lamps you can carry wherever you need light. They're sturdier than you'd think by the picture and cheap price, very bottom heavy. I wish they could be brighter, and only a few hours usage before they noticeably get even less bright. But, main purpose is when there's electricity loss and these are very handy.

Thanks. And you said a key thing "since these get posted so often" - which makes me wonder how some of these make front page while others don't. Gee, deals by "staff" get onto the front page, big surprise there. Before this place became taken over by investors and turned into a profit site, front page was saved for deals that got significant up votes and reactions. Today the popularity of deals is determined by how much money they make the site and the staff.

I agree. They need a new section for these "profit driven" deals.

Totally agree. At $7.50 per lamp, it's not a bad deal. Just don't go expecting these to be extremely useful.

I bought a pair for about the same price some months back. It was meant to be a neat easily-movable puzzle lamp for my mother, who needs direct lighting to see the pieces these days. She has a small flexible wired table lamp already, and just thought this could allow more freedom and less frustration with a cord running over the puzzles. She like it but inevitably went back to the wired lamp because these just aren't bright enough. We even tried using both lamps together.

But if you don't need much light, they're neat little products, and do feel weighty/sturdy.
