BroForce stands out as a chaotic co op shooter and sharp parody of 80s and 90s action and militaristic culture, with the $1.99 price called an absolute steal. TMNT Splintered Fate at $3 gets similar praise for being a strong Switch pick, with gameshare and cross platform play adding value. Dave the Diver is also highlighted as a lot of fun. The main caveat is that BroForce is difficult and not suited to very young kids, while Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is the family friendly co op alternative that keeps younger players engaged.

Common Questions (5)
Yes. BroForce is described as a blast with a group and an absolute steal at $1.99, especially if you like its 80s-90s action-movie parody style. It is also a difficult game, so it is better suited to older players than young kids.
Yes. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is called a must-buy at $3 and is also noted as supporting gameshare and cross-platform play. The Switch version is listed at $2.99, with the Switch 2 edition at $3.24.
Yes. It is described as one of the few games that got three kids cooperating, with the most play happening around ages 5 to 10. Each player gets a job on the crew, making it a strong couch co-op pick for families.
It is described as better than the first game and includes the DLC characters for $12. It plays like Smash Bros. with Nickelodeon characters, though it may be tricky for ages 5-7 and can still be button-mashed.
My 5 yr old struggles to keep up sometimes so lookin for a game she'd enjoy with her siblings
It looks like bro force may be the best bet? Anything else?
1-2 player modes cns work assuming rounds aren't too long.
Nickelodeon All Star brawl 2 ultimate is $12 right now, much better than 1 and includes the dlc characters. It's smash bros but with Nickelodeon characters. Gonna be tricky for 5-7ish but u can button mash lol
Broforce is awesome, but also a difficult game. No way it is appropriate for a 5 year old. It's not on sale right now, but you should check out Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime. It is a great couch co-op game that a 5 year old could play and the game could still be beat by the older siblings controlling most of it.

I have to second Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, it's one of the only things our 3 kids have really cooperated on! They played it the most when they ranged from 5 to 10 but it still comes up in rotation occasionally. Everybody gets their job on the crew.
Also had lots of fun with Overcooked and Moving Out, and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.

Similar situation 4 kids (7-11) and 1 switch. They seem to play these the most Mario Kart, hole.io, Mario party jamboree, my little universe, & boomerang fu. We lost our super smash bros card, they liked that as well. They also like Lego City Undercover, it is only 2 person so it gets picked less or only when 2 of them are playing.
