Yep. Just checked and the Extra is same price with a torque head. Ordered that.

Y'all sold me on this Dyson purchase. Our last Slickdeals related home vacuum purchase (refurbished Shark model) was about 8 years ago and it has finally started to burn out the motor . . .this came at just the right time.

I have this model and in my experience the standard mode picks up everything. High suction mode is really for spot cleaning the occasional difficult mess. Are you sure you need to run in high suction mode to clean your entire house?

Decided to take another chance on Dyson refurb after having a horrible experience with the humidifier/purifier. Received this order today, and of course they sent me the wrong model. They sent the standard yellow/nickel model with a bunch of the crappier accessories instead of the iron/gold absolute model with the better filter/accessories.
