Yup. The shelves that used to hold Hart anything at Walmart are ugly and bare. People snatched up all the good clearance stuff (non proprietary). Unless you're already in the Hart ecosystem, buying into the tool storage systems seems unwise.

The storage is system is made by keter so their boxes are actually compatible

That's a good tip. I thought Keter made pretty much everyone's storage boxes (via OEM or ODM), so I didn't think that would be "allowed" contractually, so to speak, from their other customers. I know that when I was involved in spec'ing these deals in electronics back in 2018 - when I worked with Super Micro to make some storage controllers there was a clause in the agreement (the length was negotiable, of course) that for 24 months they would not release the product to any other US distributors.

I bought a standard box for a LiFePO4 battery for a DIY portable power station just to run 12V for my chest fridge. I figured I could use it for backing up anything else like other power stations, run a solar panel in and stuff but no AC power. The smaller box I have it has to turn sideways.
