Anybody know if this is gen 2? I can't find any info on the generation? Appears to be first gen based on pictures of the buttons.

Just want to say that this is a great bluetooth speaker. Size vs performance and price ratio is excellent. Yes it's a mono speaker and purists will say it's bass heavy, but it absolutely outperforms all those "neutral natural" sounding speakers frequently recommended plus it's sturdy and waterproof. I throw it in my bag anytime I travel anywhere and I don't worry about cases or scratches. I love mine and I only wish is was a little less heavy/smaller, but it probably can't be any smaller to gibe out the sound it generates. Great for listening to music in the shower or blasting white noise if you're at a loud hotel, etc.

Given the colors they are offering, likely Gen 1. The Bose site is selling Gen 2 refurbs for $85 after the 15% code

I bought a pair of Gen 1 speakers last month from QVC. Great speakers!

P.S. I found that using a USB-A to USB-C cable to recharge my Flex speakers eliminated the random beeping sound that occurred when using a USB-C to USB-C cable. I found similar experiences reported on Reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/bose/com...c_beeping/
