Seems I got downvoted because I did not clarify these are the prices from the Staub direct store on TikTok and may have been referring to a different brand or manufacturer.

The site says it is sold from Amazon Japan and a disclaimer that "Imports from Japan may differ from local products". I have several Staub pieces a they are fantastic, will stick with the authentic from France. Guess we can't assume any more that our tried and true products are the same...

You are uninformed. Staub products from Amazon Japan are 100% authentic. The only difference is they do not include a USA warranty because they're not sold directly by a US retailer. View the list of countries on Zwilling's website where all Staub products are sold. They ALL come from their foundry in France. https://www.zwilling.com/?forceCountry=
