This is the cheapest it has ever been. Not sure how long this code will last.

If I didn't already have the regular Homebase S380, I would have jumped on this. It's just too much to lose if I upgrade now as it is using a 3.5" HDD instead of 2.5" HDD on the S380. That's like paying $200 + another Hard Drive for it.

The good thing about this upgraded Homebase is the ability to view multiple cameras at once on the app, just like Arlo does on the app. Also the built in battery is very nice to have with up to 24 hours during power outage.

I have my S380 connected to a UPS which supplies power for about 2.5 hours during an outage.

Save your hard earned money or you'll be sorry. Eufy updated apps are notoriously bad and untested. Engineers and tech support are a joke.

Apparently this thing has a full-blown, undocumented, NVR UI that's accessible via an HDMI port on the back and controllable via mouse and keyboard... I can't find much else except that it apparently exists... Prior reviews pretty much unanimously say it resolves performance issues that existed with the S380, so probably worth the $200 to see what's going on here.

You can actually buy an adapter to solve this. I have a 4TB Samsung EVO SSD in my HB3. Picked up an IRICO 2.5 SSD to 3.5 adapter bay on amazon for $7.99

I guess they found out nobody willing to pay double the HB S380 price for something similar..... gotta drop the price, maybe same as S380

They need to work on supporting more older cameras otherwise it's useless for loyal customers who own older cameras.

I couldn't agree more. I checked the supported device list and I have a few cameras not supported with this new HomeBase. I'm not going to buy new cameras when my current ones work great for a new HomeBase when I previously purchased the HomeBase 3.
