This iBUYPOWER Slate packs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RX 9070 XT, 32GB of DDR5, and a 2TB SSD into a strong gaming rig that feels like a solid value at this price. The build has been running smoothly for some and the performance has been described as fantastic, with the current market making the RAM and storage look especially competitive. The main cautions are iBUYPOWER's reputation for cheaper motherboard, cooler, and power supply parts, plus reports of a hot running AIO and awkward BIOS updating. It looks like a capable high end prebuilt if those tradeoffs are acceptable.

Come back 5080 Costco deal 🙏🏿
Yeah good luck with that. At Costco yesterday and that machine was $3200! So the non sale price jumped a whole lot. I had one in my cart back when it was on sale, but put it back. Have enough computers to get me to the 2030s comfortably. But it was a pretty slick deal Smilie Proud of myself for resisting.

Man these seem pretty good. I wish some of these AMD card deals came with higher end 16 core CPUs (server use case), but those seem to be saved for Nvidia machines where price is, say, less of a factor for people Smilie
Costco had a 9950x3d with the 9070 a couple months back for 1999, so keep an eye out there. I actually bought one on impulse and returned it and ate the 15 for shipping. Just made a general decision to stick with nvidia, particularly for a 16 core productivity machine where cuda support helps.

You could've bought it on sale and made hundreds reselling it a few months later.

I want to upgrade my 5080x3d pc with a 4090 to a 9800x3d setup. Make the 5800x3d a steam box. You think I can swap video cards? 850watt work?

Killer deal! Take that front panel off, smash it with a hammer and throw it in the trash and you'll see 20% FPS gain in games after about 10-20 minutes of runtime. Case was designed by Satan himself to steal your framerate by creating a suffocating hotbox from hell to house your components.
