I have the 440 Husky and it is a great little saw. This is a little less powerful but should perform well as long and you don't expect to cut 40" logs.

I did swap the bar for a 14" as I use it for limbing and smaller logs.

I have a Husky 460 for bigger stuff.

I would also recommend swapping the chain for a full chisel. If you aren't experienced with chainsaws then don't do it as there is little kickback protection, but a full chisel makes quick work of anything!

If you prefer a bit more power for about half the price, consider the Sportsman 52cc at Tractor Supply for $140. Includes 20 inch bar and chain as well as a 14 inch bar and chain.
Probably not something you'd see a professional logger using, but for a homeowner with a large property and plenty of trees, it's a bit of a bargain at $140. Currently on special offer at Home Depot for $250, so ya, Tractor Supply is a much better deal.

Husky fan. They make everything: Husqvarna, Jonsered, Poulen, Mccollouch and others. I have a Husky and Jonsered. Tip: with air, blow out the tank and maybe lines before use. Some people have trouble starting them at first. Fine particles from manufacturing. Once clean, no issues. Be sure to use ethanol free gas is you gas stations have it.

Oil leaks like crazy on mine. The online "glue the oiler tube in place" trick didn't help, nor did loosening the cap or storing it on its side. I don't use it much so I just have a funnel and have to drain the oil after every use. Still (not Stihl), I love it.

I have that exact chainsaw. It's some of the best money I've ever spent on a bargain! During the original COVID shutdown I was laid off and had a way overgrown basswood tree come down in my backyard. I bought the Sportsman 52cc with the 20" bar and a Makita LXT 18v x2 14" electric. I absolutely love them both. They both took everything I threw at them. I kept about eight face cords. I bought a little chainsaw mill that I attached to the Sportsman 20". I cut some landscape timbers and made a nice raised bed garden. The only bar/chain oil I ever used was used deep fryer oil that I strained through a coffee filter. With proper maintenance, including keeping the chain sharp, these are both great saws!
That said, this Husqvarna deal would have been a no-brainer for me back in those days.

Great write up. What type of gas and/or fuel treatment did you use?
Years ago friends would use old motor oil to lubricate the chain. Seemed to work well.
