Coming back to the laptop in this offer, the CPU and 32GB RAM combination should make this a solid productivity platform through the entire lifecycle of Windows 11, fulfilling the generic "is this good for a student?"
RAM is soldered, but generous for maintaining long-term compatibility with future Windows updates.
The screen is basic but includes touch support.
The display/laptop size is perfect for mobility/portability (though some users do find sub-14" screens small).
The model is new and premium enough that charging is supported via USB-C.
One key feature you may want to confirm with this seller is whether the keyboard included with your purchase is the backlit option (this model was available with or without a backlit keyboard).
Personally, as someone daily driving a 5450 and 5320 these days, the biggest gripe to be had is that the USB-C ports are located on a single side of the device. Comparing to a laptop with a traditional barrel charger this doesn't mean much, since the expectation is that power always comes in from a specific side. However, I have other laptops where USB-C availability allows me to charge from either side of the laptop... a niggling convenience feature that can really improve the quality of life with the device long term, not unlike a backlit keyboard.
Good luck!

This Dell Latitude 5330 2 in 1 stands out as a compact productivity laptop, with the i7 1265U, 32GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD making it feel well suited for travel, light work, and long Windows 11 use. The backlit keyboard is confirmed, and the touch screen plus under 3 pound weight add to the appeal. The main cautions are refurbishing quality and wear, since the listing may mean only basic cleaning and testing, and the Thunderbolt ports are worth checking because they can be the first failure point. A strong spec sheet, but condition details matter.
Common Questions (5)
This specific unit includes a backlit keyboard. The model was sold with and without backlighting, so it is worth confirming on future listings if that feature matters to you.
Yes: $315 is strong for a 13.3-inch 12th-gen i7 laptop with 32GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. That spec set is well suited for travel, light work, and college use, and the RAM helps it stay useful through Windows 11 updates.
The listing likely means a minimal refurb: cleaned, inspected, and tested to boot, with moderate wear still possible. Expect unknown battery health and possible cosmetic wear or other age-related issues rather than a like-new machine.
The Thunderbolt ports are the main part to check, especially if the laptop will be used with a dock. The 5-series finish can also wear over time, and some units have had trackpad or chassis wear issues.
No, the TECHREFURB20 code was reported as not working for this offer.
