I have it. It is wonderful for my purposes. We cook 4-5 meals at one time. Having this to do ground beef kinda on its own is a time savor.
You cannot abandon it. Ground beef still needs broken up, but it does allow for time to do other things vs on stove top. It still needs attention. French onion soup had also been a winner.
