While convenient, this is still too expensive. You could buy 300ah (3x this capacity) of 12v LifePo4 batteries for less than this and supply that power to the C1000 Gen 1 (or Gen 2 for that matter) via the solar input. I'd be interested if this got to $200.

What wiring is needed to do this ? I have the C2000 and 2 spare 300 ah batteries would love to use occasionally to do this .

You would need a battery terminal connection on one end (the black and red wire with loops to be secured to the terminal screws) and on the other end a xt60i connector (you could get by with a xt60 connector) on the other end in a length and gauge that works for your setup. 10gauge wire under 30 feet should work. It took a charge from my 400ah lifepo4 battery using this setup during the snowstorms in January. Link to the one on amazon I have used https://a.co/d/00hWP6rl
