I can't understand the rave reviews on Amazon for these. As far as I can tell, these are woefully small and thin to be called a cleaner "pad". I tried it and it kept slipping and sliding out of my hands. I had some real expectations from these. The ones I got was woven plastic threads.

The actual difference is if both sides have non-scratch wire.
Silvery has one side of the wire cleaning surface and one side is fiber (probably bamboo).
Silver has both sides with the non-scratch wire.
