I bought four of these recently for $10 a pop. Excellent value even at this price. The analog stick are hall effect and are perhaps the best sensitivity I've ever experienced from a controller. The face buttons are mushy and took some getting used to, but by no means a deal breaker. I just prefer a more tactile feedback. The triggers have a very short travel distance and are not adjustable, I'm not too big of a fan of that fact. By far the most glaring weakness is no wireless capabilities, but for the price that's to be expected. Overall I'd give this a solid recommendation for a basic controller.

Yup, it does and it's great since there are very few options for PSX style controllers.

Even better, it has very low latency and I find the hall effect joysticks to be very accurate. Better and more responsive than the Xbox controller. I've been using this to play on my laptop and Steam Deck.

It reminds me of the hours of playing Parappa the Rapper.

Fantastic controller.
I'm using it for Rocket League and I think I like it more than my $160 Thrustmaster eSwapX that it is replacing. I have had two of those controllers over the last 5 years. Buying hall effect sticks are currently $50 for one. That's wild when the face buttons or bumpers could also go.
Back paddles and symmetrical sticks for $16 is great. Hall effect triggers should stop issues with stick drift. Even if it only lasts 6 months, its still a fraction of the price of replacing one stick on my eSwap. It feels less premium, and the stick is a little louder, but for a <$20 controller it exceeds my expectations.

FYI, I almost sent it back. I couldn't get the button remapping to work. After I opened up steam controller test UI i could see that the triggers were both always firing. This is a common issue. Follow the instructions to calibrate the controller (I found this on reddit):

You hold view + menu + home until it blinks.
Skip hitting A because of the trigger situation! (This step is in the manual)
Then rotate the sticks in 3 full circles.
Then press and release each trigger (L2 and R2) 3 times
Then press A to end recalibration.
After recalibrating i could remap the back paddles without issue. They only map to other buttons on the controller.
Aside from the rough start, I am very impressed.
