TP-Link's BE11000 mesh system stands out as a cheap way to get WiFi 7, tri band coverage, and four 2.5 Gbps ports per unit, with easy setup, strong app control, and solid performance for many homes. It also works well with older 2.4 and 5 GHz devices and can serve as a Matter controller. The main cautions are that advanced features like parental controls are subscription based, setup is app and account only, and some units run warm or have disconnect and roaming issues. A strong value if you can find it in stock.
The router can be managed easily and it works with older 2.4/5 GHz devices without turning one off in the app.
The system can deliver strong Wi‑Fi 7 throughput in a 2-bedroom apartment without crashes or disconnects so far.
The wired ports appear to support 2.5 Gbps backhaul for faster local networking even when ISP speeds are lower.
The mesh setup can be quick, with some installs reported to get everything running in about ten minutes.
The Costco app and warehouse inventory lookups can be inaccurate, including cases where stores show stock but units are actually out.
The system can run warm, and firmware updates may be a concern for performance stability.
Connectivity can be unstable for some setups, including disconnects every 15-20 minutes or roaming problems that drop calls and require reboots.
Advanced features like parental controls are subscription-based, and separate weekday versus weekend schedules require an additional subscription.

Drove to 2nd Costco (that shows Limited Stock) and in and out in 5 minutes with it re-bought at $99 price. Best customer service ever.

The TP-Link Deco BE11000 (often listed as the Deco BE65) serves as a Matter Controller, but it does not currently function as a Thread Border Router. [1, 2]

probably too late to help you, but if you had a wifi router that was provided by your internet service provider..this is most likely causing a DNS conflict and constant disconnects..
in the DECO app, you have to change an option to tell the DECO wifi to no try to assign its own DNS address. (and take the one that your other wifi router is providing)
