$*.97 is Costco clearance pricing, generally from corporate.
$*.00 is what you'd expect to see for manager markdown including discounted display units. They'd also either wait until only the display was left, or write on a paper tag "display unit only" or similar, and tape that to the unit. This is the magnetic plastic sign holder that happens to be on the display itself and not the shelf etc.
Looks like a good deal, unfortunately not available here.
