First time buyer - I bought 4 boxes on sale and they were hit or miss for 'freshness'. All the boxes expired in September, 2026, but even within the same box some packages had soft pastries and others were so hard I needed to microwave them to eat them. I didn't have a problem with the flavor, I liked the pastries taste cold or hot. I just don't understand the differences in quality and wouldn't trust them to pack them in a meal where I may not have access to a microwave. The regular price is about the same as store brands, so I probable won't buy them again.
