FYI, no upgrade path to Switch 2 edition. I found that out the hard way when purchasing it on sale at Woot. The developer did not have any immediate solution and is not able to initiate a paid update to the switch 2 edition.

Came here to make the same comment. At least switch 2 has the forced docked mode now, but still stuck at 30fps

What is the benefit of picking up the Switch 2 version over the Switch 1 version if I have both systems?

mouse controls and 60fps for switch 2 version

I think only the switch 1 version has the physical copy, saves also don't carry over between versions.
It's one guy doing all the dev, so I'm ok with the forced docked mode. not like there's fast paced action or anything
