I think someone gave me a burned cd rom of this game in like 2000 or something. Fantastic game. It should not be a deal at 20 dollars for the switch though lol.

Can't imagine I'd want to play RCT on a nintendo switch, maybe just so use to PC interface but that doesn't sound like a good handheld game to me.

It's got the same interface as the mobile version, so it works pretty well on the switch. Overpriced in a vacuum but cheap for a switch game. I like Open RCT2 on my steamdeck, but have played this and it's a very solid port

Sounds like most agree that $20 is likely too high for this, even if it's pretty well rated, but...

FWIW, looks like it's been out for about 16months, and physical has been this price fairly often. Digital drops to $15 for fairly regularly too: https://www.dekudeals.com/items/r...on-classic

(There are other releases/versions that have MUCH worse ratings)

Yeah, $20 for an old game does seem like a lot. I'm guessing some value has to be assigned to the work of porting it for controller input and taking the time to do that with intention so it's fun to play.

Get OpenRCT2 instead. It's free and improves the game, has co-op, and a way bigger attraction limit. You can probably play it on the Deck too.
